NDSL is a specialist nuclear consultancy operating primarily in the decommissioning sector of the industry.

We have small but highly experienced and motivated core team which includes mechanical engineers, EC&I engineers, a graduate chemist, a UKAEA-approved Safety Case author and a CAD draughtsman. Between us we have significant expertise in areas such as remote operations, HVAC, decommissioning processes, radiological survey, safety documentation, waste management and hazardous materials handling.

In addition the Company can call upon a wide range of capabilities from its Associate Consultants. Through our excellent working relationships with other engineering firms, NDSL's wider capability embraces all engineering disciplines, and encompasses the full project lifecycle: design, build, commission, and operation.

Following the award recently of several Framework Agreements at Dounreay, a team of twelve Decommissioning Operatives and an Operations Manager were recruited and successfully deployed in the Fuel Cycle Area.
