NDSL has extended its services to include the provision of decommissioning personnel.

Shortly after the award of a suite of Framework Agreements at Dounreay, NDSL won a contract for the supply of eight Decommissioning Operatives to the Fuel Cycle Area in addition to the three already employed in D1202.

Although this was a new area of work for NDSL, within a very few weeks the full complement of staff and an Operations Manager had been recruited, equipped and trained. They are now deployed in various facilities in the Fuel Cycle Area, to the entire satisfaction of the client.

Needless to say, comprehensive procedures ensuring the quality of the service and the safety of the team are now an integral part of the Quality Management System.
