A highly competent and experienced engineer with a background in nuclear fuel handling gained over 24 years Rosyth Royal Dockyard. Previously employed as refuelling manager for nuclear submarines using substantial supervisory and managerial skills - included RPAG membership and operation as a Duly Authorised Person for movement of irradiated fuel and neutron sources. Substantial decommissioning experience including; Safety Case preparation, maintenance and discharge authorisations, management of a Dounreay FCA decommissioning project and RIDDOR investigation and report to HSE/NII after a conventional H&S accident on a nuclear site. Technically aware and commercially astute. Gained a Post Graduate Certificate in ‘Radioactive Waste Management and Decommissioning’.
