A Chartered Mechanical Engineer with more than 20 years of experience and expertise in the nuclear industry, much of it in the fields of nuclear plant audit, facility decommissioning and associated activities at the Sellafield, Windscae, Trawsfynydd and Dourneay establishments. Particularly skilled at conceptual design, dismantling methodologies and engineering management, with a focus on remote operations, handling equipment and manipulator deployment systems for nuclear decommissioning tasks. Extensive knowledge of the Dounreay site, having produced a considerable number of Plant Decommissioning Programmes site wide, including the D1202 Fuel Fabrication, D8550 Criticality Cell, DMTR and PFR Sodium/Caesium Disposal facilities.
